Tools & Materials

Sculpture Class: Pencils (2B-3B), eraser, sketchbook (drawing paper)

Materials and tools required for professional class students:

[Painting]

  • Tools: Palette (for acrylic) / Palette (for oil painting)

  • Brushes: It is recommended to initially purchase a set of brushes (acrylic brushes and oil painting brushes are different; please check the suitability label when buying).

  • Paint: Students who want to paint with acrylic should buy acrylic paint, and students who want to paint with oil should buy oil paint. Common colors: white (please get a few more of this compared to other colors), raw sienna, lemon yellow/pale yellow, medium yellow, orange, vermilion, crimson, scarlet, rose madder, emerald green, grass green, pink, purple, ultramarine, cobalt blue, Prussian blue, black.

  • Paper/Canvas: For acrylic, you can choose watercolor paper or cardstock; for oil painting, you can choose a canvas frame or panel, and the size can be based on your preference.

  • Professional drawing board or self-cut wooden board

  • Brush cleaning container

  • Students painting with acrylic need to prepare masking tape

  • Students painting with oil need to additionally prepare turpentine/linseed oil/flaxseed oil (choose one of the three)

  • You can prepare an easel

[Sketch]

Pencils (2B-6B), charcoal pencils, charcoal sticks, compressed charcoal sticks, erasers, sketching paper, drawing board, clips, etc.

​造型班：铅笔（2B-3B）、橡皮、画本（画纸)

专业班学员所需画材工具列表：

【色彩】

  • 工具：调色盒（丙烯用）/调色盘（油画用）

  • 画笔：建议先买套装笔（丙烯画笔和油画笔有区别，购买时请看下适用标注即可）

  • 颜料：想画丙烯画的同学请购丙烯颜料，想画油画的同学请购油画颜料。常用颜色：白色（请较其他颜色多配几支）、土黄、柠檬黄/淡黄、中黄、橘色、朱红、大红、土红、玫瑰红、翠绿、草绿、粉绿、普兰、群青、湖蓝、黑色

  • 纸张/画布：丙烯可选用水粉纸或卡纸，油画可选用油画布的画框或画板，尺寸等都可以根据自己的喜好

  • 专业画板或自裁木板

  • 笔洗容器

  • 画丙烯的同学需要准备纸胶带

  • 画油画的同学需要另准备松节油/调色油/亚麻油（三种任选一种）

  • 可以准备画架
